Benton Leach
Chief Executive Officer/Founder

As CEO of PLC Construction, Ben’s guiding principles are based on building lasting value and ensuring highly satisfied, repeat customers. Through his commitment to these values, Ben has steadily scaled PLC Construction for growth and geographic expansion, doubling the company’s annual volume over last year.

Ben began his career in residential construction before transitioning to commercial building, working for Primmer Construction. There, he learned the business that has now become his passion. As the grandson of an electrical contractor, Ben inherited a strong business acumen, which guides his principled philosophy for operating PLC Construction. Ben’s approach is responsive and hands-on, maintaining involvement in project management, budgeting, bidding and business development. 

In addition to his responsibilities as CEO of PLC, Ben also volunteers his time coaching with Always Sunny Lacrosse, an elite-level lacrosse program for Central Florida high school players as well as Bishop Moore youth lacrosse.

Chris Farris
Chief Operating Officer

As COO of PLC Construction, Chris provides both day to day leadership of all operations and strategic direction for the operations team.

Chris is a native Floridian with 20 years of experience constructing a variety of projects in Texas and Florida including multi-family, hotels, student housing, residential and commercial. Chris has worked his way through the industry starting as a Superintendent, Purchasing Manager and Project Manager. Through the years he has gained the knowledge and experience that allows him to lead all of PLC’s construction operations.

Chris holds a BS from the University of Florida in Building Construction and an MBA from Rollins College.

Chris is a licensed General Contractor in the state of Florida.

In addition to his responsibilities as COO of PLC, Chris also volunteers his time coaching youth lacrosse in Winter Park, FL.

Kathy Bach
Chief Financial Officer

As CFO of PLC Construction, Kathy is responsible for overseeing the entire accounting department including accounts payable, receivables and payroll. She also works with our outside accountants to prepare our company financial statements.

Kathy came to PLC Construction, LLC. with more than 30 years of construction accounting experience gained from working with various construction companies. Kathy was a Cost Accountant, Assistant and Controller for these construction companies.

Ms. Bach holds a key role in the day to day operations of PLC Construction, LLC. In addition to the financial component, she also oversees state licensure requirements, provides support to legal counsel and oversees the human resource department.

 

Daisy Leach
Senior Project Manager

Daisy’s attention to detail and drive to ensure our customer’s goals are successfully met are the driving forces behind her management style and work ethic. 

Daisy began her career in construction working for Del-Sano Contracting Group, a top 250 contractor in the state of New Jersey, where she worked on a three-year residential/commercial development project. With a reputation for hands-on supervision and personal service, she is an incredible asset to our partners on every project she manages. As lead estimator, Daisy understands the importance of having all details accounted for prior to bid to ensure a smooth construction process.

Daisy holds a BA from the University of Denver where she performed site work in Columbia, South America with UCLA’s prestigious archaeology summer program.

Daisy is a licensed General Contractor in the state of Florida.
